This course will explore the current status to genomics research for plant-associated microbes using current journal articles, in-class discussions, and detailed, organism-specific case studies. Topics will include the identification and characterization of genes involved in plant-microbe interactions, genome analysis of plant pathogens, and discussion of innovative research methodologies.
