Eric Nazareno, along with Professor Shahryar Kianian and Assistant Professor Melania Figueroa, has been recommended to receive a $11,999.00 grant from the North Central Region Sustainable Agriculture Research and Education Program (NCR-SARE) for the project, "Identification and Pyramiding of Candidate Genes Controlling Adult Plant Resistance in Oats Against Crown Rust Disease."
