Marissa Scherven Participates in Regional Research Symposium
Senior Marissa Scherven of Soybean Pathology, advised by Dr. James Kurle, was among the 104 undergraduate students that were accepted to present research at the 2015 Winchell Undergraduate Science Symposium on April 25th.
The title of her poster was "Comparison of two screening methods for evaluation of partial resistance to root rot caused by Fusarium graminearum in soybean."
Marissa has been involved with two advanced directed studies and will continue to work on this project through the summer.
