Please welcome Mitch Elmore! Mitch recently joined the CDL as a Research Molecular Geneticist. In this role, Mitch will use a multi-omics approach to further understanding the molecular basis of Fusarium Head Blight in small grains crops. Mitch comes to St. Paul by way of Iowa State University, where he was a postdoctoral researcher with Associate Professor Justin Walley and USDA-ARS Research Geneticist and Professor Roger Wise. Mitch completed his graduate work at U.C. Davis and has a B.S. degree from St. Louis University.
