Education/Professional Experience

I obtained a Ph.D. in Plant Biological Sciences under the guidance of Nevin Young.

Research Areas

My research focused on host-derived secreted peptides involved in the nitrogen-fixing symbiosis between legume plants and soil rhizobia. For my postdoc, I will be developing genomic resources for the root rot causal agent, Aphanomyces euteichis, in order to study the genomic basis for its interaction with alfalfa host plants.
