Congratulations to Pranaya Kaki, PhD student advised by Devanshi Khokhani, on being awarded the 2023-24 Hueg-Harrison Fellowship!

About the award:

The Hueg-Harrison Fellowship is awarded to recognize the student/mentor relationship that evolves during the pursuit of a M.S. or Ph.D. in production (applied) agriculture. The recipients are considered Hueg-Harrison Fellows.

The Hueg-Harrison Fellowship honors the strong student/mentor relationship that existed from 1952 to 2000 between William (Bill) F. Hueg, Ph.D., 1959, Michigan State University and Carter M. Harrison, Ph.D., who was a Professor of Farm Crops at MSU from 1937 until his retirement in 1971. Bill Hueg was Professor Emeritus, Department of Agronomy and Plant Genetics, a former Extension Agronomist (Forage Management), Director of Minnesota Agricultural Experiment Station, and Deputy Vice President for Agriculture and Dean of the Institute of Agriculture, Forestry and Home Economics, University of Minnesota. Bill and Hella Mears Hueg established this fellowship.
