Well done, Austin! Graduate student Austin Lien was awarded the Alan Dexter scholarship at the 52nd annual Sugar Reporting Session in Fargo on January 11, 2022. This fund is for students in a Master's or PhD program whose thesis pertains to sugarbeet production, processing, or economics.
Lien's research focuses on assessing fungicide sensitivity and understanding the molecular basis of fungicide resistance in Cercospora.
