Biography
As a Postdoctoral Associate in the Plant Pathology d I will be working with Ralstonia solanacearum race 3 biovar 2 (R3bv2) looking to understand its colonization behavior in nightshade plants. Also I will be working with a beneficial microbe consortia with biocontrol effects against Pythium root rot in corn. I hope to gain training as an independent research and to gain experience in plant science teaching and outreach.
Outside of academia I am a big coffee person and I enjoy biking in the warmer months. I am a big houseplant enthusiast, particularly I like growing plants from the genus Anthurium.
