Areas of Interest

My group studies the interaction of grasses and biotrophic pathogens, with a focus on the cereal-rust interaction. Our research areas span genetics, bioinformatics, molecular biology, and evolutionary biology. Our long-term goal is to develop durable disease resistance to improve food security.
